Autodesk Suite Use Case
Company Alpha is in the architecture, engineering, and construction vertical. The specific use case is to have AutoDesk suite Revit, 3D Studio Max working locally on user workstation and sync the file updates to internal file servers and cloud to enable collaboration with external partners on the building project. Using AutoDesk application suites over VPN is slow because the applications tend to produce large files, and large files over VPN are slow. Sharing large files with external partners is not easy either if it requires a third-party site to upload and share.

Application Compatibility
Company Landa is an accounting firm with file servers on one site. The on-premise infrastructure is relatively straightforward, but they do have requirements to run database applications and Accounting software. These software applications run on individual workstations while connected centrally to the file servers via network file shares. They are already using Office 365 and are thinking about moving files to SharePoint. However, the application compatibility is holding them back to the file servers because SharePoint doesn't support these applications. They used aDrive to provide mobile access to existing file servers.
